17 inch wheels for cup/172

hi guys....does 17 inch wheel shagg up the cup in terms on handling and more importantly 0-60 times?

I would imagine the extra weight would.. The cup is all about lightweight!

What extra weight.

If you go for the 17" Speedline Turinis they are lighter than the 16" that come on the car as they are flow formed.

Mine is better off the mark as the wider tyres seam to get more traction.

Plus they look so much better.

17s are lighter than 16s on the same alloy.. well, go for it then. heh.

i have got a second hand set without tyres for r495 as new

second hand set of what? turinis? btw, all cars should have seventeens on if it has been made in the last 5 years (all cars before that look better on 15s, imho) seems cars now are designed with HUGE arches to accomodate small refugee camps and immigrants

Apart from the v6 Clio which already has hoooooooooge wheels! Rule of thumb is 2 inch bigger then standard usually fit without scrubbing, wonder if its true on the v6, 20 inch wheels!!!
