17" Rims Lowering 40/60mm Rub?

Ive got a Mk2 Ph1 1.2
Iam getting 17" and want to lower it but will it rub with a full car of people or on full lock?

Do you always have 5 people in your car whilst going round mini roundabouts?! A little rubbing once in a while is fine mate

The right offset of wheel and I doubt you would get any rubbing.
Mines lowered 60mm and have had 5 people in the car - no rubbing.

mines 17" lowered 40 no rub!

17" in the correct offset and a 60mm drop will be fine. Might catch the liners at the front at full lock but thats it.
