17" wheels rubbing !!

Car  clio 182
im running 17" prima racing wheels on my 182 and fronts are rubbing whilst turning lock to lock. also rears are catching on the liners too over bumps!! the car is lowered 40mm i know this wont help but i really dont want to revert to standard ride height, any ideas??

16" wheels? When I first got my car I had hideous 17" (look at me and my wheels from halfords) wheels and they were scrubbing and the car wasn't even lowered. I'd highly recommend going down an inch.

3 options. Raise the car, get smaller wheels or spacers. Last option might just make them catch elsewhere in the arch though instead of the inside.

17's are too big. I've got a set of Wolfrace rims that I bought a few years ago. I use them during the winter but if the car has any extra weight in or is driven really hard they rub in the arches and catch on full lock. Mostly I use OZ F1 15's. I stick the 17's on if I'm going marshalling on a forest rally stage to give me extra height on off road stages
