172 02 immobiliser Fault with a twist?

Ok plenty of you with faults of your own but I searched and found nothing like this.

If I turn ignition on the immobiliser will never turn itself off. But 9 times out of 10 if I turn the ignition from Off to the crank position it'll just start and be fine again until I remove the key for 5 minutes.

Hard to say mate as i'm having issues with mine at the mo, but i've got a constant light. Could be a relay on the way out, or decoder. Have you tried both keys? Changed the batteries?

Pop down to rentech with it and get Mike to run it one CLIP. Immobiliser fault should show up (unless you own my car :S)

have the excact problem mate. Had it for months now. Always happens to me when i stop at a busy petrol station!

Going to have to bite the bullet and send it in...........

I've had the solid light a couple times actually. I leave the ignition on for 15 secs turn off and it disarms everytime too. Might be worth a shot?
