172/1.2/182 suspension

a mate of mine has a 1.2 clio billabong (03/03) with some brand new lowering springs on it, and a 172 (02/02) with standard suspension. Does anyone know if the springs can be straight swapped? One of the RTE's in work reckons the struts are different sizes, but can't be sure, any help would be good!!

172/182 and 1.2 suspension are all different Im afraid.

No worries. John2Modified on here seems to be quite popular for getting stuff like springs from.

Springs can be swopped but there the wrong poundage and height etc so the rides not idea I'd stick with stoct than use the wrong spec springs.
