Hi ive got a 02 mk2 172 and in a few weeks time im going to bugjam with my mates at santa pod. Iam wanting to take mine for a run down the strip. Wat time would i expect to get? and wat time did other people get?

I think either myself or Paddy have the fastest for STANDARD 172 1/4?!

I got a 14.7 @ 93mph - this was with no spare wheel in and the back seats out.

If youre running fully trimmed up (as per standard spec) then expect mid/low 15s at Pod, if stripped then you might touch 15 dead.

14.6 for a standard Cup

I think the 172 hits 15.0 and the Cup is 14.8 going by book figures.

14.6 with FULL interior for MAC, a 172 will full interior/spare will struggle to get below 15.3
