172/182 brakes on a non sport

Firstly are the 182/172 brakes bigger than the non sports, i think they are at 285mm but not 100%. Secondly, will they fit a non sport model, i.e my 1.6 RSi, or are they mounts on the stuts different?

yes they are bigger, and no the mounts on the hubs are different
im working on brackets at the mo to fit 172 calipers to 1.2 hubs

Cheers, thought i may have been able to get a good upgrade with no effort, what are the brackets costing?
