172 / 182 Exhausts

I'm currently on the hunt for a 172.

One of the first changes i'd like to make is to add a custom tidy exhaust.

I love the style of the 182 (dual) and wondered if it was 'wrong' to add this style to the 172? I mean adding a 182 style to a 1.2 is a no no, but what about adding it to a 172? I don't want to make the 172 look like a 182, i just simply like the exhaust possitioning.

You can get a 182 look-a-like system for the 172.

Although, the twin exhausts are the only thing I dislike about my 182. I much prefered the more stealth look of the 172. I get kids behind me see the chav twin exits and try racing me, which I never got in the 172.

But you can get them, I think K-Tec do them. You'll need to get cut outs or a 182 bumper obviously lol.

I think that the 182 style exhausts on a 172 just don't look right for some reason. I realise that they are the same shape car & have the same rear bumper etc, but I don't know what it is they just don't look right.
