172 & 182 Seats - the same fitment?

Hi,

Could someone confirm if 172/182 seat fitment is of the same design? I have some aftermarket seats for sale and have been questioned if they'll fit into a 172. Logic tells me that they will and that the chassis/seat mounts are the same but just want to be sure.

Same fitment.

We have 182 trophy seats in our 172, so have lots of other people, the holes in the car are the same.
