172/ 182 with sunroof !!!

Why does the aerial appear to be fitted at the front of the roof aswell?:S

They are on the mk2 ph1/mk1 172's

Looks weird, would have hoped for a better looking button and button section.

I can't understand the reason needing it. Yes its nice as it lets the hot air escape better in the summer and can have it vent open on the motorway but I can't see the point if you have AC. Just another thing to go wrong.

I did a really bumpy tarmac sprint at north weald airfield last weekend and no creases yet heh. I didnt want a sunroof but the rest of the car and the price was good enough so i went for it. If I turn it into a dedicated sprint/track day toy long term I will remove it and plate over

Maybe I could strike a deal with them. If they give me £300 they can have it back lol. Seems a ridiculous amount to spend when the car has AC and opening windows!

The last owner was a woman and she had just had all 4 wheels refurbed as well. I'm saying nothing...
