172/182 xenons in a 1.2?

Has enyone but the xenons out of a 172/128 into a 1.2? ... are they the same connections ect? or could i just change the bulb in mine to a xenons bulb?

You need the whole lamp unit ideally, as the 172/182 has the projector bulb, that the 1.2 doesnt

I've got the full units in, it's plug and play. You can get some whiter bulbs for your normal headlamps off eBay though.

Cheers, im thinking about xenons, i dont know weather its because my parents park the car under a tree outside our house, but weve got some like greeny color limeskale type stuff under the lense of the lights, it dont effect the lights, and cant see it unless your pretty close, its just horrible, so thought if im changing the lights i may as well get something better

Ah cool MK2PH2 is what you have. Yeah they're a straight swap for 1*2 xenons, plug and play.

Im sure ill get it sorted, there well worth it considering how much better they are, Thanks JCC, make it sound easy , I poped one of my fog light covers off earlier in the bottom of the bumper and couldnt find were it joins the loom, anyone got any ideas?

if your not too fussy , angel eyes look similar (by no means the same but SIMILAR) and cost about £130 ish, if your after the headlamps off a sport, be prepared to saw off your legs to pay for them

Thanks ben, well my dads leaving the car at home all weekend and taking the bmw so its all mine to give it a damn good clean and pollish, ill have to get the buffing machine and the clay out, and possibly some T-cut, Will get some pics up in my other thread when its done, will presure wash the lense's of the lights see if i can get that green stuff off.
