172 Alloy Wheels

Just put some 172 alloy wheels on my standard clio mk2, but im abit concerned about how close the front wheels are to the suspension arm. Is this normal? or would I need to buy some spacers?

Also, if I need to get spacers, would you recommend buying the full kit? or just the shims?

Anyone know a recommened width for the spacers? 5mm? 10mm?
