I would imagine the warranty will exclude consumable items such as light bulbs, fluids, batteries, and general wear and tear items like brake pads tyres etc.

I know a car battery isnt exactly consumable so it seems a bit harsh, but i doubt it would be covered. I suppose it depends on the fault, but if its been working fine for 2 years then i would be suprised.
 


well i never, never heard of a warranty company paying out for a new battery. I work for ford and that certainly wouldnt of been covered.
