172 BRAKE HELP!

  Clio 172
Hi,
I have a 172 and having great difficulty in making it stop. It has various engine upgrades but brakes are rubbish. I'm running standard calipers and have brembo max discs with ds2500 pads but still struggles to stop on the track. What would you guys recommend, Tarox, Wilwoods or will 197 fit 15" wheels?
help please :0)

If doing more track days the DS3000 would be a good choice if keeping standard calipers

Also changing the fluid and making sure the existing pads aren't binding would be a good start. They often get wedged in too tight and don't have room to expand when hot

Hi, I have changed fluid to 5.1 and new brake lines with braided hoses. Pads are free and caliper slides free. I despair they really are awful.
thankyou for your reply
