172 Conversion

  Clio 200 Cup
currently investigating converting my Renault twingo gt to a 172 engine.... now i know that basically the chassis/front end of the twingo is identical to the Clio's Mk2? Mk3? as we have before fitted 58mm coilovers from a mk2 clio onto the twingo, and from just looking in pics, so the engine mounts are the same (using a 172 engine mounts) and iirc the 172's are FBW throttle and so are the twingo's iirc.

Gear linkages may be an issue but if there the same setup as the twingo surely using 172 linkages and maybe connecting rod. also the hubs are the same so the driveshafts from the 172 should be fine in the hubs, aswell as abs sensors should be fine.

sorry for the essay just writing my thought process for you all to evaluate as i don't know alot about clios.

My main question is now about the wiring loom, looking on some threads here the actual 172 loom is fine and ecu connections etc but its how it connects to the In-Car loom, now i think from this pic its the white plug but may be the assosiated wires to the right.,
and how is the 172 loom disconnected from the car? via the fusebox or these plugs.
