172 cup feels faster with ph1 gearbox

As above. Been running with the new gearbox for a week now and the car feels allot quicker. Are the ratios different in the ph1 box? I know the build quality was better. Maybe it's just becuase my last gearbox was buggered but I'm sure it's faster. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Build quality wasnt better - all JC5 boxes are crap. The ratio's on the JC5 089 box are closer than on a JC5 129. You will get to 100mph quicker and thats about it

I thought there was issues with the speedometer if you used a different gearbox?
