172 cup hub

went to get new tyres on car the other day, when removing bolts they snapped in hub. are alll clio hubs the same size? or will i need one of a 172 cup?

Any from a ph2 172 should fit fine. As far as I know only the 182 Cup and Trophy are different.

did they snap on the flanj (circle thing the bolts bolt to)?

if so just take the car/hub to the garage and they will fit a new flanj on along with a new bearing, happend to mine twice and it was about £80-90 to sort out.

They could drill the bit thats broken out and re-thread it, but the hole will be slightly bigger in the end,

Yeah the flange can just be pressed out, will probably need to replace the bearing too.

Is there any thread sticking out of the back of the flange? Im guessing its snapped flush on the wheel face...check to see if its sticking through on the back as you might be lucky and be able to wind it out with some grips...

If not, thread extractor would be my next try....last resort id replace the flange, but its easier to replace the hub itself to be honest, they can be had for £20-30 on here second hand.
