172 cup missfire ......

my clio 172 cup 2002 has been misfireing/ running on 3 as it playes up through all the rev range for a while now and cant work out what it is its random and only happens about once a week for maybe 20 mins then seems to sort its self out iv plugged it in to a code reader and it comes up with single cylinder misfire also the engine management light to the right flashes rarely just thought i would ask to see if anyone has had similar problem and what cured it? cheers!

Plugs, Leads or Coil pack on way out maybe.

Would pop the plugs out and inspect them (Check they are the NGK's) for any signs of damage / wear.

See if someone's local you can borrow a coil pack and set if leads from see if that helps.

iv tryed another coil pack and it didnt sort it out so will check the leads and plugs in the week i havnt had the inlet manifold off since iv had it so hopefuly there the right plugs cheers
