172 CUP, Offset is 38, how about a 43,5 offset ??

  RS RIP
I can buy some lovely Speedline Corse wheels, but the offset is 43,5 whichj will come out shorter by 5 mm compared to the Turinis i have on now..

HOWEVER i will be wanting some 205 width tyres instead of the 195 i have on now...

Will the car look silly or is it barely noticable ; these 5mm further in ?? I'm also thinking the scrubbing will NOT be there with the 205, lowered, offset 43,5 ??

(i could always stick some 5mm spacer on to go back to 38 !)

anyone had experience with the higher offset of 43,5 on their 172 Cup ?? (Tyresize 205 ??)

its ET43 for the speedlines, the palmer sport spec ones, they weight about 9kg's per wheel, so not a light as the et38 version

i have used both on my 182 and not had any problems

^^ thanks guys, but you are both talking about the 182 Clios.

The 172 has the smaller hubs which sit 5mm further inwards compared to the 182 hubs.

A wee bit off-topic; But err. any destinations for the 'old' Turini's?

yep, never selling and up they go to the attic :);)

Have you noticed "Marktplaats" , a guy selling Speedline Corse wheels for 75 euros a piece brand new !? Might be something for you aswell ? He's got a lot of 'em , think it's because the Clio 3 has entered the racing scene and all these Clio 2 wheels are abundant , if that's correct dutch ;), and up for bargain prices from Speedline factory themselves. Might be the last of the stock being sold or something in the matter

Try "Clio Cup" and you'll also get the Belgium guy's ad. He still has some. Name is Cris

I see Kris has reposted them...

Still i'd rather have Speedline Corse 2120 (Turini's) then the Speedline Corse 2118 (Cup).
Spoke design is that much nicer.
