172 cup on 15" wheels

I was wondering if anyone ran a 172 cup on 15" wheels, and if so what size tyres they used cheers.

i run 15" turbines with a 195/45/15 tyre. Love it.

Stick with 50 profile. 45's will be too under tyred on a 15''

Price and availability...there's so much more to choose from for 15s compared to 16s.

So why exactly do they make a 45 profile then?

down to personal choice on profile, I've also favoured the 45 as steering responce feels sharper, they do give a slightly harsher ride then the 50 and they cost a little more

For other cars. There's more out there than just Clios 'you know.

I favour a 55 profile on 15s myself, helps extend the gearing a little.
