172 cup standard wheels rubbing

Hi all, have got a bit of a problem with my back wheel passenger side rubbing any ideas?? it does not rub all the time just when i go round a corner tah muchly,

both my 172's have done that, can u hear it or just see where it has cuaght the plastic guard?

well the gargae i took it too said they can see it on the shocks and yeah i can hear it on the back. They recommended to get 2mm spacers???????

Sometimes the plastic gaurds can warp out of shape.. so that the stick out more than they should.. you could try using a hot air gun to mould them in a bit again.. or I guess you could go with the spacers if its rubbing on the inside of the arch.

I got rubbing on mine when there was a passenger in the back and I would go over a big bump in the road.
