172 Cup struggling to start at the petrol station

So as the title says, every time I go to the petrol station and fill up the car it has trouble starting. I always fill up using the same fuel (tesco 99momentum).

Anybody know what's going on?

Every 172 I've had takes a bit longer to start when hot.

yep mine seems to take a little longer once its hot

harder to start when hot usually means you need a new crank sensor

Can you define "struggling to start"
Does it turn over ok? Does it help if you add a bit of throttle or not?
Does it attempt to fire or not?

Ok so from cold and mostly warm it starts on the third crank, after I fill her up, on the first key turn it usually either take a few seconds of turning over to start or start on the third crank the second turn of the key. Will try the throttle next time.

Did you map it yourself?

Sounds like the start map isn't ideal when warmed up

Noticed that after trying to dig myself out of a bog yesterday.

Same on mine, have to turn the key just a fraction longer when just filled up.

that's the same in my 182; when its hot it takes just a little bit longer to start. Only by about a second though.
