172 cup

  Polo BlueGT
Ok, I've found myself a clio 172 cup at a very reasonable price... Having heard from the guy he says that there is a problem with selecting second. He said it was "sticky" I'm waiting for him to get back in touch to elaborate on what "sticky means" any idea what it could be and how much it could be to fix? I know there's not very much to go on. Yeah, it's not too bad at £400. I will find out about Cambelt changes and such like as well, as far as I'm aware it's all been done it just needs a new box!

Oh right year for that could be worth it. Cambelt on a Cup is going to cost roughly £500 although IIRC specialists are thin on the ground in Scotland.

Its 5 years / 72k miles. Whichever is sooner just FYI.

Yeah, I'll get details of it tonight, receipts and everything else etc. seems a bit of a bargain. Know he's had it for a while so might just be cheeky. Coupled with some pro race 1.2's and a good set of shocks and lowering springs it should be an alright buy!
