how much does this dash cost from renault?

its and idea to put a dvd screen in it instead of making a custom pod

i wud like to buy it without the sat nav screen etc.....

all help appreciated

its only a bit of plastic that replaces the sunglasses holder, so not much, the screen can play dvds with an add on, but as you say gonna be costly doing it that way, think its a 5.7" screen.

i thot u had to replace the whole dash instead of just the middle section

The drawing I posted shows the part its the whole top of the dash you have to buy.

Its doesnt seperate. Theyre glued in place. How bout trying a breakers??? Will surely be cheaper than that.

i assume thats a ph2 172 dash in the pic? i wanted to do this but my car has the vents in the centre console rather than the top part of the dash, and it has an LCD clock and lots of electrical connections that would have to be sorted.

this is my car (mk2 ph1) witout the dash. i assume a ph1 172 dash might fit but a bit of a longshot? does anyone have a picture of a ph1 172 with a sat nav screen?

Theres a guide on the main page you need to be a member though to see it I think though. Quite easy though

You should be able to get it shipped from an engine breakers without any problems quite cheaply.
