172 Decat - Lambda Sensor thread size

  VaVa
Having read through a few threads it seems the majority go for leaving the second lambda out - So I'll need a plug for the second lambda hole on my decat when I get it fitted. Any idea what thread size is?

how would you plug it up? just when i fit my 182 mani and decat it wud be worth blocking it up rather then spending £90 on a sensor

With a 18x1.5mm hex plug .lol.

No idea about the sensor. I presume you'll still need the second lambda connected - But I think you'll get a toxic warning light whichever way round you do it tbh so it might not matter.

Just plug the fucker then dude!!

I've searched a s**t load of threads and it seems a complete lottery as to whether or not your light comes on. Fingers crossed for me!!

Get your mate in the tool room at work to make you one.... O sorry, thats me ;)

Surely if you leave the second one connected but not in the exhaust is will measure the clean air outside the exhaust, show this is cleaner than sensor 1 so no problems?

you can get them form most ex suppliers for £4 or so.

Of if you have one lying about, a pinto spark plug.
