172 door bullets

Hi all,how do the door bullets on the 172 come off? thanks Keith

just get a cloth and a small screw driver and slowly and gentle pull at them till you can get your fingers in to them just be carefull tho the clips brake easily

go on try pull them off with your hands a bet you brake somthing !

I thought you would need to take the rub strip off to get to the back of the clips.

If you open the door there is a blanking plate on the inside at the end of the rub strip.

Pop this off and you can see one of the lugs that hold the strip in place. You can use a screwdriver to gently lever the rubstrip across.

Pop this off and you can get to the back of the bullets to ease the clips out.
