172 driveshafts

So I've just been to get my tracking set up but they can't do it properly because of excessive play in the offside driveshaft.ive noticed a knocking web changing gear wen gettin back on the throttle,I'm guessing new driveshafts. Where's the best place to get them and does anybody know if there are such things as uprated shafts? I'll b replacing both sides just as a rule of thumb

Ive been told the only place to get them is Renault, West's on here do a good deal I believe.

you wont when you hear the price. They're close to £250 each, and they're genuine only (non gen are available but they dont fit correctly)

As said, only use genuine.

If you're on a budget, second hand will do but don't expect them to last forever.

I've spoken to Tom from wests,they can do me reconditioned shafts at a good price,they should b as good as new ones right?

I've just ordered a pair of recon shafts for my car, and one for Pauls cup. I've fitted loads without issue. We can supply these also
