172 exhaust on 1.2 16v

Hi I have a 2005 1.2 16v and was wondering if a 172 back box would fit on my car. It’s a milltek and will it make a noticeable sound difference. I don’t want anything to loud or anything. Thanks in advance.

You might be able to get a custom sleeve made to fit it as it will be the wrong diameter, but I'm not sure if the 1.2 follows the same exhaust path under the car

Probz not sound very good though, I wouldn't bother, just save for a 172, you can get them for next to nowt these days.

It will physically fit with a bit of work but the diameter is far too big to be ideal and it will most likely sound pants.
