172 Exhausts, all the same?

Looking to buy a second hand 172 exhaust (cat back or full system) was just wondering if the different models will vary (phase 1, phase 2, 172 cup???)
Mine is the original 172 phase 1.

Also the vehicle is not lowered at the moment however will be going down in the future, will this affect my choice at all?

depends on the exhaust design. The ph1 172 has a longer cat, so shorter exhaust.

So for my phase 1 I really need the exhaust off a phase 1?
