172 Fuel Cut Off Switch

My Clio 172 failed to start this morning, plenty of fuel all fuses are okay and the alarm and immobiliser doesn't seem to be malfunctioning....I want to check the fuel cut of inertia switch.............Anyone have any idea where this is, The AA are coming out tomorrow to try and fix it or tow it too the garage and I don't want to look like a complete donkey .

if it is the inertia switch if you own anything apart from an MK1 clio 172 you can't do anything about it.

if you do own an MK 1 172 push the red button under the bonnet (with the rubber cover on)

if not, its a trip to renault to reset it on the clip system.

is not a common fault, but I have heard it happen 2/3 times.
