172 fuel filter location?

just wondering where my fuel filter is located on my 172 as i want to change it when servicing it later

They dont have a servicable fuel filter ( there is a small filter built onto base of the in tank fuel pump - but its not removable )

^ Thats for the Ph1 172, Ph2 172 have the filter inside the tank.

so on a 182 it's near the tank? I changed it every 6k when doing my service, is this necessary or the changing intervals are bigger? thx

About 150k on a 182

just found out that the 182's have the fuel filter inside the tank, and indeed they should be changed at 150 k. problem is, I have an external one, near the fuel tank, similar or even identical to the ones found on ph1 172's
