850 T5. mmmm Turbo!
got my gearbox out of my car today and realised that my newgearbox doesnt have a hole for the speed sensor,
do i have to
A) swap the gearbox casing so that the speed is still read from the diff.
or
b) is there a way of modding the loom to pick up the speed from the ABS like the later models.
p.s, is there any chance of the probe being in and not be read by the ecu? i.e redundant??
also, will my new diff have the plastic ring on it to drive the speedo?
