172 gearbox

Hi all.
Ive got a 02 plate 172 and the gearbox has blew (put hole in casing too )

The box i got has a speed sensor in it, so what im wanting to know is if a ph1 172 box is the same? or do i have to stick to finding a early ph2 or cup box?

Ph1 box is the same but has slightly longer ratios.

Longer final drive ratio but gears the same. Will fit and work no bother

thanks for the replys, not really worried about final drive ratio, just as long as it all fits the same. Now helps my search a bit more.
