Im 19 years old with 2 years NCB clean licence in southend on sea and got 1600 fully comp in my name on a 182 with Adrian flux
If you say you are part of a members club it drops your premium down a bit
Also strangely, if i fitted an air filter on my car it dropped the quote by £300 as they could class it as a modified vehicle?
Hope that helps
Modified insurance is cheaper with Flux, fact.
Changing to a 182 soon, and for a standard one the extra I needed to pay on top of my current policy on the Lupo was just under £600.
After buying a car with different wheels, exhaust and suspension to declare then only want about £470 on top.
So in total I'll be paying about £1800 all in.
Thats Fully Comp with breakdown cover, mods declared and covered. I'm 19, 2NCB, 3 points SP30, in a middle of the road postcode rating thing.
Basically, ring flux and get a quote for a standard one. Then get a quote for one with an upgrade air filter (panel filter will do, £40) and it should drop your quote £200+. Depending on what you pay in the first place.
