172 insurance

How old do you have to be to get a realistic quote on insurance for a 172?

im 19 @ the min 20 soon never had a claim against my name but have always been a named driver on my mums insurance , drive a 1.4 16v clio but have always wanted a 2.0.

just wundering how much longer ill have to wait!

o and also anyone got any opinions on the best insurers for youngsters?

i have a 2.0 megane which is group 13. im 19, no NCB no points or accidents and paying fully comp on my policy 1600-HIC

im 21 have a 172 and insurance is 1400, 3 yrs no claims and have never claimed

you wont do i think well not sub 2k you have no noclaims your sub 20 and its a group 16 car

yeh i know im startin my own policy on my 1.4 16v soon got quoted £800 fully comp from elephant.co.uk for my own policy.

Sorry guys, Im 25 and pay £850 fully comp on the V6.

Just got a letter from Admiral saying I was getting a £150 discount because I now insure two cars with them

Ive spent ages searching round companies online this morning after Renaut have yanked the price up 150 quid.

Tescos are the best at the mo, Norwich Union took bloody ages to fill in the 8 pages of forms for them to tell me they cant quote online. b******s.

Im 23, 5yrs ncb, £690 is my best quote
