You're not even supposed to solder non gen ones (Well, the Bosch ones we fit) so its just a dirty rig up unless it plugs straight in. Always run genuine Llambda's as some cars will just keep throwing the management light on with a motor factors sensor. Had a Colt in that HAD to have a Mitsi one in or the light would just keep coming on, no matter how many times I cleared the fault, she'd be back in a week later, lol.

Gen I can get for about £60.

Non-gen is around £40. Is it worth the saving???

yeah as long as you buy a bosch one, that will be a direct fitment. it's basically the same thing.
