172 Lowering Springs, help needed!

  172
I know its been a topic before but can someone recommend some springs for my MK2 172?

I want it to look lower so was thinking 30 - 40mm not going to bother with springs that only drop her 10 - 15mm.

Cant afford coilovers yet cos christmas is nearly here so just springs for now.
Looked at KTEC springs, any commments and KTEC also sell camber adjusting bolts for lowered 172s.

Are these needed?

any comments and suggestions welcome, ta

Eibach Sportlines are reputably the best for drop v's performance. I had a friend who had 40mm apex on his Cup and he was quite happy with those....

I quite fancy those Eibach springs from k-tec, as I only want to lower my cup slightly anyway (20mm/15mm).

Seeing as it's mildly on topic:
Do you need spring clamps when changing the springs? or is all the tension off them when the car is jacked up and it's just a case of unbolting them?

Cheers

Ask santa for some. K-tech ultimate coilovers are cheap as chips

I'd save my money and get the H&R's but if you want a cheap solution in the meantime the Apex springs with club discount and postage are under £100 from BB tuning. You can always sell them on on here if/when you change to coilovers.
