172 Maintenence

  Clio 172
Ive decided im going to keep my 172,since spinning it into a kerb at 90mph last year and almost writing it off ive spent over 2k in looking after it.What i want to know is what little things can i do to keep it running well?Ive had it serviced, cambelt change and new driverside driveshaft done in past 8months. Ive seen on jms tuning they do a clutch re-lube and throttle body restore, these things im going to look into but what else can i do? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'd check the oil regularly by hand (don't rely on the car) apart from that check it over every now and again for any leaks (oil, gearbox, steering, suspension etc) apart from that not much else you can really do. Driving it sensibly will help (don't rag it form cold etc)
