172 Mileage

My 52 MK2 172 passed over 30K last night, and its a month and a half off being two years old? How are similar aged cars doing? Worried mine is getting rather high?

Mine is an 02 2002 MKII and it has just passed over 16000 miles since March 2002. I am the 2nd owner and I bought it with just over 9700 miles on the clock.

Its going fine.

I service it properly, and give it TLC after I abuse it, I have uprated quite a few things, but all in all its fine.

When I "Aced" my Car on 27July it had 35,000 on it Registration Date 1.11.01 so I was slightly over 12k a year which is normal ish.

Most Valuation Companys go for around 10k-12k a year average over that and your going to start hitting the value.

Your brother does about the same mileage as me - my Jan 2002 Mk2 172 is now on 7,576 miles - all driven carefully!
