172 Mk1 CD player issues

I tried to play a recordable cd, it didnt work which is fair enough, but some other recordable cds in there work fine. So I took it out, put the cd magazine back into the unit, now the stereo cant read any cds, its as if the magazine is blank, but its all in properly. Anyone experienced this?

Should be a connector under the drivers seat, comes apart!

I would take the magazine out and give the changer a good blow IMO!
