172 muti display problem

the multi display is playing funny games.

it all works apart form the fuel left(it just flashes 3 lines)

anyone know what it could be to sort it.

This usually happens when your low on fuel, in my experience once you have got less than 20-30 miles in your tank it refuses to tell you how much further you can go.

yeah it has done it since full i filled up. i did notice the battery clamp was a little lose yesterday and the multidisplay has been resetting on start up, so i have tightened it now, see if that helps.

still got this issue. it just flashes 4 line(not 3) and i have just filled up. driven 10 + miles and still flashes.

I wouldn't bother fixing it tbh, not a big problem.

yeah, its all been reset, every other function works, g meter,mpg,speed etc. just not the fuel left!!!!!

wondering if there was anything like a seperate fuse etc, cant see one in the fuse board
