172 non starting... Factory alarm?

Is there anything within that system that immobilises the engine other that the standard immobiliser?



Struggling....



Cranks

Have fuel ( had rail out while cracking (all 4 squirt)

Have spark, checked 1 & 3 so should have 2 & 4 aswell

New coilpack

New crank sensor

New plugs

Checked earths at ecu plug

Help?????

Oh and checked cam timing (crank pin in , cam alignment tool in ok)

The standard alarm does nothing to immobilise it. What's the immobiliser light doing?

Comes on with key then after a few seconds goes out.

Stays out while cranking. Key off flashes as normal.

Interesting. I'd say get it on diagnostics, as it's more than likely a sensor gone down if everything else is working.

A good obd2 scanner should show up a problem yes?
