172 not driving smoothly

I have noticed lately when the car is warm and i am driving along that the car seems to be Sputtering. Please can someone give me any ideas what it could be .

it does splutter when its cold but it does get worse when the car is warm.

plugs, coil, lambda would be where id start!!

easiest thing to do would be plug it into a diagnostic machine! and lights on?!!

When i posted the message i realised that i put in it the wrong place so i did post in Techincal under faults .
