172 not pulling as it should

Weird one this.

I've always found my 172 nippy enough and holding of some cars to their suprise. When I boot it in 2nd it just goes without to much fuss and very very little torque steer. Other night I was in a rush and booted it in 2nd and it felt like I was fighting it. Torque steer was stupid

started the car the next day and back to normal. Still quick but no dramas in booting it.

Anything to check regarding power loss etc? Running standard bar the exhaust system at the moment. Had a similar problem with out alfa and it turned out to be a MAF sensor.

The engine would not cause torque steer. Could have been something on the road or worn bushes. A Clio isn't fitted with a LSD

Will have been road conditions as above and its hasn't really got enough torque to produce proper torque steer tbh. You don't need an lsd to get it though.

mines was running shite a few weeks back,hardly any pull in it. took off my k+n off and now runs and pulls like new.
