172 or 182 ???

  Clio Dynamique 1.2 16v
I am currently trying to sell my dynamique,as soon as thats gone im having a sport..

But can decide which would be better, the 172 or the 182..

I prefer the styling on the 182 with the exhausts, and if i was to get one it would be in racing blue..

Although the 172's are a lot cheaper, still look nice(although would be sexier with twin exhaust) and i have read on parkers that a certain model of the 172 is faster by 0.1 second..lol,but it does not come in racing blue..

What are your opinions please people..which would you have/got and why??

Thanks

Had a 172 , loved it . Got the 182 cos it was newer and for the looks , twin exhaust and anthracite alloys :)

Depends on your wallet, would rather a minter 172 than a rough 182, i prefer the 172 as it doesn't have the twin exhausts.

And 172 comes in flame red, best colout by far.

The only main differences between the two are the wheels & the exhausts.

I guess it depends on how much you'd want to spend really. You can get the 182 style exhaust though, as k tec do one.

Would you have to have the spare wheel well took out?? wouldn't really wanna chop holes in my bumper..lol

And i got a set of anthracite's so that not really an issue..

182 has no spare wheel anyway, thats another reason for the 172 IMO

172all the way personaly I like having a spare wheel well and there no huge difference.
Plus the 182 wheels are useless at letting brakes cool. And I don't like "upgrading"

Scutch's gf Gemma has just picked up a silver 172 with the 182 style exhaust fitted, it still keeps the spare wheel.
