Please can you help Just purchase a 182-cup (paper add said) it only has 1 tail pipe not two and it has a spear wheel well.
Some one told me it is an import 182-cup model 2002??
How do I tell a 172 engine from a 182 engine?
Cant find an engine number it just said (Renault fdp)
Any other info you need to help me find out if I did purchase a 182-cup, which is what I wanted.

Always HPI check a car before you buy it, for more reasons than one. It's 100% a 172, 182s had no spare wheel well.

If its got half leather and aircon its more likely to be a 172

How much did you pay? mileage? standard alloys? how many spokes? what colour are the wing repeaters?

one tail pipe for a start, what wheels are on it?

If it's a 2002 then it's never going to be a 182.

If it has half leathers then it's never going to be a Cup.

In other words, it's not a 182, it's not a Cup.

So it could be a 172. However, I'm sure some other models of the clio range had 1 exhaust, leather and air con in 2002 and are black..... could be a f**king diesel! lol.

Only joking, it's a 172... shimples.
