just to let peeps kno that you can do this. a couple of months ago i booked a 24h test drive in a 172 (cos i wondered what is was like), ended up having it nearly 48h! possible cos renault do a 24h test drive so bullsh*t to them and they give you the car as they want business. im also with co-op insurance who do not charge for this so all i paid for was £5 petrol.

go forth and test drive!

Left alone with a 172 for 24 hours I would certainly use more than £5 of petrol!!

Why dont you try a few tanks of petrol and a set of tyres!

there was already petrol in the car and i just filled it up with a fiver-just enuf to get me to the garage. ive got the new megane 1.6 (cudnt get 2.0) next week for 24h but its really bout 40h.
