172 Ph1 dials the same as ph2 172?

Wouldnt mind some white dials but are the ph1 172's dash dials the same as the ph2 172? I.e. straight swap?

Might be cheaper to buy a set of White Lockwood Dials if that's what you're after

Well I have looked at the dials and themselves look very similar.

The ph2 have a shroud over it but wasnt sure if I took it apart and put them back would be ok.

As for lockwood i just wanted the original Renault Sport items with the embossed logo.

Several of the warning lights (the gearshift one for example) are in a different place.

Compare the back of them both if you can. I cant remember if they are the same or not.

However people have had about 7 years to try it and no0one has got it done so gotta assume it doesnt work
