172 ph2 rear lights on Ph1 - wiring Question

Please can anyone help?

I've gone to fit my new rear lights ph2 style on my ph1, there must be a change in the wiring needed?

I've got reverse light s flashing when the indicators are on Fogs when reverse is selected and all sorts.

Has anyone made this change and know the wiring change need?

I'd really appreciate any advise

Oh sh*t, I've tried doing the small connector thing tonight and made a right pigs ear off it.

Gonna have to try and bodge the job in the day light tomorrow. :banghead:

Its dead easy just make sure you pull back the black clip holding the wires in and then do them one by one

Whats been said above really mate, can't go wrong, I managed it by myself so anyone can. lol at the mistake of not re-wiring and have flashing reverse lights! Good tip is a thin, long and flat screwdriver to prise the wire out, they do need a fair bit of force and pursuasion to get them out.

Good advise dudes, I've gotta laugh cos of the mess I made of it. The ph2 light will be worth it though.
