172 phase 1 coilover suspension

Hi just recently bought my phase 1 and im wanting to buy coilovers but im on a budget ( as im a student ) i obviosly dnt have GAZ coilover money laying around so i was wondering do coilovers that fit a 1.2 , 1.4 clio phase 1 fit the 172 of the same year ??

No they don't mate, it's all about bolt spacing. Different models have different bolt spacing, yours certainly won't have the same spacing as a 1.2, .4 or .6...

nah man the spacing of the hub bolts is different. cup is 60mm, a 1.4 8v is 58, some are 54mm, some are 52mm etc

there are some cheap coilovers on ebay, raceland or something but personally i wouldn't want these on mine
